The Croatian I am talking about is of course Tottenhams new midfield dynamo Luca Modric!
Will he be a success or will he fail as so many before him??
Will he be a success or will he fail as so many before him??
Many followed him during the European Champinship since he was already comfirmed as a Spurs player before this, and if we are to judge him out of that I will say he will become a HUGE success! Then again I tought this about Darren Bent too.... (still haven't given up on him)
But back to Luka Modric, the way he controlled Croatias games was nothing less that impressive. Every creative offensive play went trough him, either he started a counter attack or he had the final pass that made the chance. The way he bossed around with Germany gives me great hope that he will be able to do it in the Premier Leauge too!
What do you think? Will he succeed or will he fail?
Give me your toughts and ideas!!
Not only did he boss around against Germany, he did the same two times against England in the qualifier.

Not to forget the mythical Number 14 he was wearing at the Euro2008, made him even more alike Cruyff in his best days.
I think it would be a great buy.
